Goals not Resolutions

Welcome to the first of our posts aimed at helping you improve your training and achieve your goals.

In 2020 Neil started training for the Suffolk Backyard Ultra and a part of that training was researching training methods and mindset. Over the next few weeks he has kindly agreed that I can post some of this in the hope that it helps others.

New Year is commonly the time for setting resolutions, it’s a time of fresh starts and an opportunity to make changes the challenge is sticking to them.

Setting goals rather than resolutions can be more successful and productive. It’s more than just semantics it’s having a plan that is key to success.
