Runner of The Month & how is it chosen?
For many years now Dunstable Road Runners has chosen a Runner of The Month. This is a person whom the Captains believe deserves to be recognised.
Nominations can be made by members to your captain at DRR.Club.Captain@gmail.com
These nominations will be considered but it doesn’t mean their nomination will be chosen. It will definitely be considered along with those already being thought about.
Runner of The Month is chosen based upon:
- Running achievements in that month, representing DRR
- Contributing to the club during that month, volunteering/supporting
- Attending club runs
When there is more than 1 candidate being considered for a month, then the winner will be selected taking all criteria into account. The final decision lies with the Captain.
