We
have three different championships each year:
- Club
Champions:
- These
are "first across the line" competitions
for men and women over 5k, 10k, 10 mile and half
marathon at designated races. The marathon competition
is an open event.
- League
Champions:
- This
is an age-graded competition, using best recorded
times from 2 distances from 5k to half marathon.
The man and woman with the highest aggregate age
related score becomes League Champion.
- Cross
Country Champions:
- Using
results from the Three Counties League, the man
and woman with the lowest aggregate score from
5 events is Champion. If no runner has completed
all 5 then the winner is determined from 4 events.
If no runner has completed 4 events then no award
is made.
Rules:
- Participants
must be first claim fully paid up members, as
of 1st January each year,
- Club
colours to be worn at qualifying events,
- Results
submitted must be from recognised, measured
events,
- Official
results sheets must be submitted,
- Club
Championship events are selected by Club Committee.
